Addressing Relationship Energy Drainers is the title of my presentation on David Steele’s “Conscious Relationship Tele-Seminar Series” this Thursday, September 13, 2007. I’ll be appearing for an hour (5:30 p.m. PT, 8:30 p.m. ET) with co-host Frankie Doiron, talking with Conscious Daters about how to recognize and avoid people who drain their energy!
I’ll be discussing how manipulation (Energy Sapping) begins, how to recognize immediately when someone is attempting to drain your energy, the benefits of getting in charge of other people’s unauthorized use of your own personal energy, some techniques for ending manipulation in your life, along with a brief discussion about whether Energy Sapping is “bad,” why we tolerate it, and whether it is “normal”!
David Steele wrote a book I wish I had read during the 20 years I lived as a single person: Conscious Dating. David appeared on Full Power Living (September 6, 2005) to discuss his coaching and suggestions for successful partner finding and selection. He is now preparing the second edition!
