Karilee Shames is an amazing woman– author or co-author (with her husband, Dr. Richard Shames) of several books, feminist, counselor, holistic 
nurse, authority on treatment of the Thyroid, mother of 3 amazing adult “children,” university teacher, and belly dancer! She has long been interested in the topic of Women’s Empowerment, so it’s only natural that she has put together a book about it, featuring 20 women who have been mentors to her along the path of her life! Mentors range from an Army General, to the developer of Healing Touch, to a member of the US House of Representatives. I am honored to be one of those mentors whom she has featured in this book, side-by-side with these amazing women. We’ll be talking about our lives, women’s empowerment, making lemonade out of lemons, and the other amazing mentors she features as Real Hot Mamas!
