Ilene Dillon Biography
Ilene Dillon, M.S.W., aka The Emotional Pro, is a 40-year Family therapist, coach, author, and radio show host. Ilene authored a series of e-books for helping parents teach their children how to deal with emotions (The ABCs of Anger [Love, Loneliness, etc.]: Building Emotional Foundations for Life) and has hosted Full Power Living (www.emotionalpro.com www.blogtalkradio.com/fpl iTunes subscription) since 2004. Ilene has many courses, including Turning Anger Into Enthusiasm (video), Coaching for Single Parents, Conscious Parenting, and Anger Mastery. Her ideas have been featured in publications such as The San Francisco Chronicle, Care Notes, Feel.com, The Marin Independent Journal, Personal Excellence and Woman’s Day. She is author of 20 books, workbooks and CDs on emotions, including Awaken To Your Emotions, 4 Building Blocks of Self-Esteem, 99 Tips for Mastering Fear, The ABCs of Anger, and Happiness is a Decision of the Heart. Ilene is married to neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Fink, F.A.C.S., and has lived as the single, married, step, adoptive and now grand-mother of 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
