I’m using this site to get the word out on what I’m currently working on, a book entitled “Born to Learn,” which is part of my campaign to teach the world about the importance and power of human emotions. My newest book, due out in 2006, will help to revolutionize the way that people look at their emotional relationships and problems.

Who am I? A Social Worker, licensed as a California Marriage and Family Therapist since 1972 and a Clinical Social Worker since 1979, continuing education instructor for nurses, probation officers and psychotherapists, a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association (since 1984), an Internet radio host (Full Power Living, http://www.worldtalkradio.com), and an author (12 published works to date). I’m also a mother, grandmother, step-mother and adoptive mother, a gardener, pet lover, hiker, snow skier, back packer and cook. My husband and I have 6 children, between us, who range in age from 18 to 38. We’re proud of every one of them, as well as of their mates, SO’s and children.

Why do I want to write this book? I’ve waited most of my life to have enough experience, as a human being and as a psychotherapist, to feel like I know something helpful to say. I’m so excited about how these concepts have transformed my own life that I want to give others the opportunity to transform their lives, which I believe this information can do for those with whom it resonates. I’d love to change human consciousness (for the better) for the next 2000 years, but have accepted that I must relegate myself to that which is possible–helping a few souls to change for their lifetime.
